Non-Fiction short story:
Marbles
A short story that was written based on loose recollection of a childhood memory. This short story was pivotal in directing me to where I am at.
ENG-W131
W131 was a class that challenged the way I looked at relationships. As the need to write non-fictional pieces of literature arose, I decided to write a piece based on a real experience. There are alterations, but it largely remains as I remember.

Literature was and remains a big part of who I am today. It began in high school, where I started reading self-help books, and continued into college, where I began writing stories.

More importantly, literature is a tool that I use to bring new perspectives into my life. By revising my work and ideas over and over again, I come to conclusions that speak true to my values and beliefs.

I use this method of revising in many different aspects of my life to some degree. Whether it's re-evaluating personal relationships, refining my goals, or reassessing my career path, the process of continuous revision helps me stay aligned with my core principles and adapt to new insights.
