Artifact 2
Strategic management is an intensive course over how to recognize and create strategies for successful companies. The artifact I present below showcases the final analysis of what our group has learned from the course for those who are taking the course or will be in the future.

Reflection
This course gave me a new way to look at why companies make the decisions they do—through a lens I hadn’t really considered before. Working on this Costco strategy analysis, I got to build my analytical skills by making sure the section I worked on fit into the bigger picture of our recommendation. I also got to strengthen my teamwork skills, since I had to work closely with four great people, all bringing different experiences and perspectives to the table. The final project you see here came together through a lot of discussions, decision-making, and more than a few late nights.

This is an important artifact to include because understanding strategy isn’t just useful for this course—it’s something that applies on the job, too. Knowing how a company approaches its long-term success can help you make better decisions in your own role. Plus, this being a group project makes it even more relevant, since most jobs require working with others. Looking back on this experience, I can see how I’ve grown in both teamwork and problem-solving, and I know these are things I’ll keep building on as I move forward in my career.
